*Rights & Regulations
The licence granted by The Hong Kong Copyright Licensing Association Limited (“HKCLA”), Hong Kong Economic Times (“HKET”) and Ming Pao Daily News (“MP”) has the following rights and restrictions:
- Obtained the photocopy and facsimile rights from HKCLA, HKET and MP.
- The photocopies can be distributed to their clients by (i) transmitting the photocopies in facsimile form, and/or (ii) delivering photocopies by hand, post, courier or other similar delivery methods, and/or (iii) delivering the electronic files of the articles via email. Email is only the delivery. Such licence is neither email transmission licence nor electronic copy licence.
- Both of the licensees and their clients shall delete or destroy the electronic files immediately after the transmission or receipt of the said electronic files.
- Every photocopy is only for perusal and study of one single designated officer within each of their clients.
- The photocopy provided from the licensees to their clients is only for client’s current awareness, and in particular shall not be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Any reproduction or re-distribution of the photocopy at such client should apply the appropriate licence directly from The Hong Kong Copyright Licensing Association Limited.
- Photocopies provided from the licensees to their clients are allowed to keep/retain for a maximum of six months and which shall be shredded, defaced or destroyed afterwards, except obtained appropriate licence or authorization.
